Thank you for loving me the way you do. In our almost two years of marital bliss, you continue to teach me things about unconditional love that I had never known before you. You harness my crazy, but embrace my creative ideas in such an accepting, supportive way. You vacuum because you know I hate to, and you wake up with me in the middle of the night just to pray with me if I am worried about something. You will never know how big of an impact your kind spirit continues to have on my heart. You make me a better person. Our date nights have changed from nice dinners out, to cozy dinners at home, and our conversations from what we are gonna do on the weekend to how ridiculous our electric bill was this month, but I wouldn't have it any.other.way. Living in the real world with you blesses me more than any other lifestyle I can think of. Cheers to you, my love. The man who knew me in my awkward days, but called me a  'hottie' anyways. Thank you for making this life we've made together, so darn magical.

9 years ago this super cute soccer stud that I was friends with, that I was fiercely crushing on, asked me out on a date on Valentine's Day.  I thought he was kidding at first, but after a little convincing I said "sure why not". You know playing it cool even though my heart was about to jump right out of my chest! Well cool is not what I would describe my mind when thinking about what I was going to wear that night. After a tornado blew threw my room, I finally settled on a jean jacket, a tank top (bedazzled, of course), and jeans. I felt really cute, and my mom even took a photo of me because it was my very first date…ever. 

So he rings the door bell, and my heart feels like its going to explode for the second time in one week. My stepdad answers it, because he has to do that "you better bring her back at a decent hour" thing that dads do, and then I so casually go to greet him. I remember how HOT I thought he looked with his shaggy hair and popped collar! (Eat your heart out ladies!) 

That night was nothing short of magical and ended in a first dance and a first kiss. 

That date left such an impression on me and went down in history as the most romantic, well thought out date I had ever experienced. Until 7 years later, in July. In the same place, to the same song, dancing in the same parking lot, that super cute soccer stud got down on one knee and proposed to me.

..cue the 'awe's, or the 'barf' noises.. whichever it makes you feel..

Regardless of how we've spent Valentine's Day those years in-between then and now, each new V-day celebration feels like the first. And I want to put in a little extra effort to look put together for my man. 

I always plan my 'date night' look way before date night, don't you?! I go pinterest crazy finding a different look to just step it up a notch for my most favorite date of the year. So, here are a few red-hot picks for you hot dates! Even if its with your best friends, you still wanna look good!

High Five for Friday!

HIGH FIVE FOR FRIDAY! 

1. So I am in full swing of working from home full time! (Maybe sometime I will write on here about that transition and leap of faith.) I have to say, Its really a dream come true and answer to many many prayers. Big things are happening all of the place, but one thing that still hasn't made the cut is laundry/cleaning. Hmm. #priorities

2. Well, it finally snowed. Of course living in the south, we typically don't get a lot of snow, but with our 'you've-overstayed-your-welcome' houseguest, Mr. Polar Vortex, snow makes it a tiny bit better. I won't lie though..it only takes a few snow days to have me dreaming about spring. So I decided to introduce some new spring inspired prints to the shop! 

3. Did anyone watch the Bachelor Wedding?! I am an un-ashamed fan and loved every minute of it. I even cried.. a lot. A lot?! Yes! I am a totally sap for anything love related. (Valentines day usually turns me in to a big ball of cheesy-mush.) At one point my husband even looked over at me and did the whole 'touch-my-arm-Are You Ok?-deal'. So glad he gets my crazy. There's always one that does. :)

4. This week I have had the utmost pleasure of styling two really special brands. One is for a close friend and business parter, and the other is for a really special organization who is close to my heart. I can't wait to reveal the details on here in the future! 

5. I got to visit with a long-lost friend on Sunday!! This girl is the epitome of grace and love. I love her friendship so much, and I was so thrilled to be able to spend a while with her catching up while she was 'home'. She is also going to be bringing a new little man into this world in 6 weeks! Definitely having one of those 'I-can't-believe-how-far-we've-come' moments.

If you keep up on instagram, you know we had quite the snow yesterday. As much as snow is fun for a little while, until your fingers are frozen, I am majorly itching for spring! So as the snow fell yesterday, I was motivated to make it spring-y in this office!

When developing these, I wanted them to be fun phrases that would lighted up any room in your house. And as always, I wanted them to reflect Hazel Berry. Hope you enjoy them! 

Beauty Trend: OMBRE

Every few months, I get the itch to do something different in the beauty department. Luckily for my husband, small, budget friendly changes usually satisfy me. But this time? I think I may branch out a little more into this 'ombre' trend. 

I don't want anything too crazy, so I have gathered a few photos for some inspiration. I have a fair complexion with dark brown hair, so I am thinking maybe the "Kate Beckinsale' or the 'Sofia Bush' is the way to go. What are your thoughts on this trend… Which is your favorite?
