High Five for Friday

TGIF.

1. Well there's good news and bad news.
Good news first? Agreed.

So good news.. I received my BONLOOK glasses this week!

Bad news... pretty sure I should have done the virtual try on so that I could get a feel for how the square  frames would look on my face. Because it's not good. Or at least I'm not digging it. My husband thought they were cute and all my friends agreed and said "rock them. be fearless"...but I know that I will just end up not wearing them. SO, luckily, BONLOOK has amazing customer service, and they are helping me figure out which pair would best fit my needs and the look I am going for. Plus, they are  paying all shipping fees for the exchange. Pretty amazing right?!

OH, I almost forgot! They also sent a lollipop with my glasses. Which is definitely worth mentioning.

2. I will be doing this with this inspiring individual.  I am over the moon, jump on the couch, filled to the brim with glee, about this. I've been praying for the perfect opportunity, and I've found it.

So grateful.

3. I am making a new wreath this weekend. I found all of these online and decided that they were my favorites. All different, but all beautiful, and would make my door look legit. Craft Saturday is H.A.P.P.E.N.I.N.G.

inspiration board... so far
4. Since the weather has cooled off a little, we spend a lot more time on our back porch.  That area is probably one of the last areas in our home that needs a little TLC. So any time we are out there together, the brainstorming begins! It's been fun to think about what we could do. It's also kind of fun to think of the resources we will have to pull together to do this on a budget. Something about the challenge sets my heart on fire!

5. Best for last... I have the best husband. I know all of you are shaking your heads at me
(or vomitting), but truly.. he's such a GEM.
He made my lunches this week.
Let's be real... probably everyday.
You see, mornings are rough. Typically I don't feel awesome from lack of sleep, or just icky-ness.
Self, Don't forget grouchy.
So before he leaves, he makes my coffee, packs my lunch, and waits until I leave (if he can) to give me the warmest hug and kiss and to hand me my (very well made) lunch.
Sometimes I just need a little extra grace, which is why I can say he is the best. Because like our glorious savior, he gives me that little helping of grace when I need it most.

SIDE NOTE: Jesus would have made an amazing husband. Can I get an amen?!

Color Crush

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6

This month, I am loving anything and everything that reminds me of this glorious time of year. Nature is the greatest inspiration there is, so naturally, orange has stolen my heart this month!  I find myself incorporating it into everything I can! I might even be brainstorming a fall inspired art print. Stay tuned.

These are my favorite orange pieces that I've spotted lately.

Master Designer

I have recently become apart of this Manifesto, and I feel so proud to be apart of it. Darlene from Fieldstone Hill Design is behind all of this, and I couldn't be more blessed by her intentions of bringing us designers together in such a touching and powerful way. We may not deal with the same mediums, clientele or design in the same way, but we are all united by the one who call us to our purpose.
As designers, we love to create beautiful things. That is our passion, our calling and our service.

"I LIVE TO BRING GLORY TO GOD THE ULTIMATE MASTER DESIGNER.
He created beauty. He created all beautiful things. He created my passion for beauty and set that hoy in my heart."
That is my favorite part because it is a huge piece of my heart in sentence form. I'm so grateful for Darlene's kind heart and welcoming me into this lovely group or dreamers and doers. Also, a special congratulations is in order to Darlene and her family on their gorgeous baby girl.

Visit Fieldstone Hill Design and learn more about the Master Designer Manifesto. If you scroll to the bottom you will see Hazel Berry Paper sitting proud. :)

Happy Sunday!
